Duhok

With the aim of strengthening scientific relations and joint coordination, a high-level delegation from Duhok Polytechnic University headed by Prof. Dr. Muayad Barakat, Assistant President of the University for Administrative and Financial Affairs, and attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Bizaf Naji Rashid, Dean of the Technical College of ‌Health and Medical - Shekhan, along with the heads of the three scientific departments of the college, visited the General Directorate of Health in Duhok in Duhok Governorate. The delegation was received by Dr. Afrasyab Mousa, Director of General Directorate of Health in Duhok.

During the meeting, the university delegation expressed its appreciation to the General Directorate of Health for its continuous cooperation and partnership with the university. Several important topics were discussed, including strengthening relations and enhancing coordination between the two institutions in a way that serves both the health and academic sectors.

The meeting also highlighted the importance of student training by providing practical training opportunities for students of the medical and technical departments at the university within hospitals and healthcare centers. Furthermore, scientific coordination and the implementation of joint activities and projects aimed at improving healthcare services in Duhok Governorate were also discussed.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of continuing such visits and implementing the agreed joint points in order to advance the scientific and practical development of future healthcare professionals.
