Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ari Adel, President of Duhok Polytechnic University, the Directorate of Training and Legal-Economic Affairs launched a three-day training course for 13 media officers from the colleges and institutes ofDuhok Polytechnic University and Zakho University in the seminar hall of Duhok Polytechnic University.

With the participation of Asst. Prof. Dr. Yaman Sami Sharif, Vice President of Scientific Affairs and Postgraduate Studies, and Dr. Mohsen Hassan, Director of the Directorate of Training and Legal-Economic Affairs, the first day of the practical course titled

“Professional Media Content Production Program”

commenced under the supervision of Asst. Prof. Dr. Yaman Sami Sharif, emphasizing the enhancement of inter-university relations, coordination, joint activities, and the effective dissemination of university content on their websites.

The first day was organized into two main sections: a theoretical session and a practical session. Several key topics were presented by Mr. Sarkft Rashid, Director of Media at Duhok Polytechnic University, including:

“Specialization in content production, text writing, and transforming activities into stories (Storytelling)”

In the second session of the first day, Digital Marketing was presented by Mr. Obaid Sobhi, focusing on managing the universities’ social media platforms and reaching target audiences effectively for academic purposes (students, graduates, general audience).

It was decided that this course will continue for two additional days. The second day will cover digital journalism, photography, and editing through workshops, while the third day will focus on studio and podcast management, including podcast presentations by specialized instructors.
