Duhok Polytechnic University Holds the Dissemination Day for the Erasmus+ RISE Project


Duhok Polytechnic University organized the Dissemination Day for the international Erasmus + RISE project during a special event held at the University Presidency.

The event was attended by Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawzat Sadiq, Vice President for Student Affairs, and more than 25 participants, including academic staff, students, and representatives of the government and commercial sectors. The event emphasized the importance of international cooperation in advancing higher education in the Kurdistan Region.

For their part, the project team members, Dr. Sherwan Mustafa and Dr. Faiz Saed, highlighted the main objectives of RISE, particularly improving students’ digital and soft skills before graduation and strengthening connections with the labour market.

In conclusion, it was announced that the university would continue implementing the project’s activities by organizing “Erasmus Day” on October 15, Career Day on November 5, and hosting the draw for RISE Start Cup on November 10, 2026.
