Under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ari Adel, President of Duhok Polytechnic University, and with the participation of five German lecturers and thirty lecturers from universities across the governorates of Iraq and the Kurdistan Region, along with a number of administrators, faculty members, and researchers, the first day of the Iraqi–German Nanophotonics Workshop was held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

“7th Iraqi-German Workshop on Nanophotonics”

The workshop was conducted under the patronage of Asst. Prof. Dr. Diyar Ahmed Saib, Director General of the Scientific Research Center , and in cooperation with the German organization DAAD , at Azadi Hall of the Duhok Technical Institute, with both in-person and online participation.

On Thursday, December 4, 2025, the second day of the workshop took place, featuring a series of lectures delivered by lecturers from universities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
