Under the title “Official Protocol and Etiquette”, a workshop was held on Sunday, 14 December 2025, organized by the Media Techniques Department, in the Kurdistan Hall.

The workshop was conducted under the supervision of the President of Duhok Polytechnic University, Prof. Dr. Ari Adel, and under the patronage of the Dean of the Technical College of Administrative, Asst. Prof. Dr. Nawzd Rajab Zubair, with the presence of the Vice President of Administrative and Financial Affairs Assistant, Prof. Dr. Muayad Barakat, alongside a number of representatives and officials from governmental and party institutions, student union branch leaders, as well as several faculty members, staff, and students.

The Media Techniques department organized this workshop to host the Protocol Officer at the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government, Dr. Zirek Tayar Zibari, under the title “Official Protocol and Etiquette”

During the workshop sessions, the speaker provided a comprehensive explanation of the official protocol to be followed in all official works and activities, and also addressed the rules of formal etiquette applicable to participants in official events and activities.

At the end of the workshop, the floor was opened for questions and discussions, and after the completion of the workshop activities, the University President expressed her gratitude and appreciation to the organizers of the event. Additionally, a Plaque of Appreciation and Respect was presented to the workshop guest, Dr. Zirek Zibari.
