Tunisia Hosts SANAD Project Activities


Within the framework of the SANAD Project funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and implemented in collaboration with four universities – Duhok Polytechnic University, University of Bonn (Germany), American University of Beirut, and University of Tunis El Manar – the BILD Summer School on Biomedical Imaging with Deep Learning was organized at University of Tunis El Manar, Tunisia.

The summer school was held over five days (September 1–5, 2025), featuring both theoretical and practical sessions delivered by expert professors and specialists from Germany, the UK, and Tunisia.

From Duhok Polytechnic University, Ms. Dilan Jamil (MSc student, Information Technology Department) and Ms. Bareen Haval (Coordinator of International Relations) actively participated and contributed to the project implementation.
