The University Delegation Participated in the First Round of Training

The University Delegation Participated in the First Round of Training on Labour Market Assessment On Tuesday 14th of March 2023, with the presence of advisors and directors general of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and with the participation of (70) teachers of universities in the Kurdistan Region, the first workshop on labour market assessment was conducted.

To create a new culture for developing educational programs based on the labour market needs, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, in cooperation with IREX organisation, conducted a two-day training workshop on labour market assessment for (70) university teachers. The delegation of Duhok Polytechnic University consisted of (Dr. Abdulhakeem Othman) Dean of Zakho Technical College and Institute, (Mr. Bewar Sulaiman) Director of Career Development Center, (Mrs. Jiman Mohammed), (Miss. Fatima Nawaf) and (Mr. Nizar Mahmood). The IREX organisation organised the workshop in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. International experts gave the sessions from the IREX organisation on a scientific basis and best international practices.
