Admission of students / Duhok Technical University system
Every graduate who wishes to complete his / her undergraduate studies and obtain a Bachelor's degree can now complete his or her studies at any of the three technical universities located in the Region using this system and under the following conditions:
First: Instructions for acceptance of students in technical universities in the region
One of the aims of establishing technical universities is to give students an opportunity to complete their studies and obtain a bachelor's degree. As graduates of technical institutes can apply to complete their studies in colleges that suit their specialization and obtain a bachelor's degree in this specialization. Graduates of institutes admitted to the faculties are directly involved in the first stage.
Instructions for admission to technical universities
1- The rate of (5\%) of the admission plan shall be for graduates of junior high schools. This percentage represents the students applying through the central submission.
2- The percentage of (50\%) of the admission plan for the scientific departments shall be for the graduates of this school year and the year preceding it.
3 - This plan includes the first three students (I, II and III) to the scientific departments of all institutes for the academic year (2016-2017), but not less than (80\%). All remaining students are accepted according to the instructions of the Parallel Education System.
Conditions of acceptance of students in the parallel education system
1 - Apply for the completion of the bachelor's degree is directly (direct submission) after the emergence of the results of the first round, and the submission through the Directorate of General Registration at the University.
2. All admissions, whether employees or non-employees, shall be subject to all instructions for students (including absences). The Ministry is not responsible for obtaining a student visa.
3. The geographical location will not be taken into account upon submission and acceptance of this system. The other instructions regarding the geographical location (except for this system) are applied to the students and according to the ministry's instructions. As the acceptance plan in this system depends on the proportion of graduates in the scientific departments of the institutes.
4 - The student who is accepted by this system is not entitled to postpone and transfer.
5. The rate of applicants who graduated from the institutes should not be less than 65\% and not more than 40 years of age.
Mechanical introduction and acceptance of graduates of technical institutesSubmission is done through direct submission, through the application system, and through this link- The application date starts on 10/8/2017 and ends on 31/8/2017.- The names of those accepted will be announced on 7/9/2017.- Objections are accepted for one week after the names of those accepted are declared, i.e. it ends on 15/9/2017.- The names of the Ministry are to be submitted on (20/9/2017).- Final results will be announced by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research on 30/9/2017.
Second: Admission of the first students to technical institutes (provided they are successful from the first round)
1- The first student in the medical group (for technical medical institutes) at the governorate level, to be admitted to the Faculty of Medicine
2 - The first student in the departments of dentistry in the institutes at the county level is accepted in the Faculty of Dentistry.
3 - The first student to pharmacy departments in the institutes at the county level, accepted at the Faculty of Pharmacy
4 - The first student on the oil department at the level of the province is accepted in the Faculty of Engineering Department of Oil
5 - The first student on the Department of Survey at the level of the province is accepted in the Faculty of Engineering Department of Survey
6 - The first student on the Department of Mechanics at the level of the province is accepted in the Faculty of Engineering Department of mechanics
7. The rate of students with a series (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6) should not be less than 80\%. If their average is less than 80\%, they are admitted to the direct enrollment system
8 - The first three graduates (first, second and third) in all technical institutes are accepted in colleges corresponding to their specialties according to table (1), provided that their general average is not less than 80\%. If their average is less than 80\%, they are admitted to the parallel admission system
9-The top three ones of the Medical Institute will be accepted at Medical College with an 80\% as a total, but less than that applying is going to be by the Ministerial System
10- The top three ones (students) of the Technical Institutes (those that have colleges of the same departments) are going to complete their study at the colleges of the same departments with an 80 \% total, and passed in the first term.
