Modified Cryptosystems Based on Public-Key Algorithms


 Abstract:

Cryptography is the science and study of methods and mathematical techniques for protecting data in computers and communication systems from unauthorized disclosure and modification. Three modified cryptosystems have been proposed for Security Performance Improvement; method-1 ( ElGamal, RSA & Rabin), method-2(Rabin & ElGamal) and method-3 (Paillier & RSA), the first and the second proposed methods depend on the IFP and DLP, while the third one depends on the IFP and CRP concepts. Then in turn will increase the computational complexity of modified cryptosystems which increase the Security Performance Improvement. In general, the running time and complexity of the three hybrid proposed methods 1, 2 & 3 are better than the complexity and security of the original algorithm; Elgamal and Paillier.
